(MBA, BSc Applied Health Science, Dip Phys Ther)
Robert Creane (MBA, BSc Applied Health Science, Dip Phys Ther) has over 10 years experience in assessing and treating musculoskeletal issues in both sporting and general populations. This was preceded by several years at senior management level in the corporate world. His busy practice in Galway combines treating clients at his clinic as well as on site services for multi-national companies and pitch-side services for local clubs. He has a particular interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Robert has worked for the Institute of Physical Therapy since 2008 as a tutor for ‘Business Practice’ and as a ‘Clinical Supervisor’ for the institute’s intern clinic. This role enables him to use his business background to help new therapists to develope their business plans and to make the transition to a new career. He’s also a board member of the Irish Association of Physical Therapists (IAPT) during a crucial year that will see the profession enter the early stages of regulation.
Robert believes there are exciting opportunities ahead for well qualified people in the sports and manual therapy fields and he looks forward to playing a part in preparing a new generation of practitioners.
