Fees and costs at IPTAS

Tuition Fees for the Academic Year 2010/11 are €5,400. A deposit of €500 is payable upon booking the course.This is deducted from first payment. Fees are payable in two installments; the first of €2,200 is due in late August; the second of €2,700 is due in January 2011. Payments can be made in cash or by cheque, bank draft or charge/credit card. Tuition fees include the costs of all in-term examinations (not repeat exams), notes, and class notes.

Tax Relief
The full tuition fee of €5,400 qualifies for Tax Relief according to Revenue rules. However, students should verify this with Revenue as legislation can change from time to time. Visit the Revenue website here.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

There are currently no additional fees for examinations or for class notes.

Prescribed texts, which are available to purchase from booksellers online in our Student Centre, cost approximately €300 in first year. We recommend additional texts also.

Students will also need to purchase a uniform bearing the Institute crest for their Clinical placement. The cost of the uniform is approximately €50 and is available from the uniform department of Arnotts, Henry Street, Dublin 1 and from Medical Express, Parnell Street, Limerick.

Students are strongly advised to purchase a portable treatment table (for home study only) before the course commencement date. Prices are around €150.
