The clinical placement, which takes place at the Priory Clinic, allows you develop as a Clinician, from observation in first year to responsibility for the management of your own patient caseload in your final year. It is an exciting culmination of your study as you engage in the application of the theory and techniques you have mastered at the College. In the early 90’s, the Priory Clinic was established as Ireland’s first Physical Therapy clinic to provide hands-on treatment for a range of musculo-skeletal conditions. Over the years, the Clinic has gained a reputation for providing safe, effective treatment for many types of muscle and joint-related disorders. Here, qualified physical therapists practise alongside other health professionals to ensure that patients have access to a range of therapies and have the best treatment and opportunity to recover.
